The small manufactory Rolf Lang Dresden presented their new caliber with ruthenium-blackened plates at the Munichtime 2014.
In addition to the traditional construction with three-quarter platter and the distinctive mark repetition according to Alfred Hedwig, the Marinechronometer-balance was exchanged for a large ring-rest. The elevator mechanism, which is located on the dial page, is based on the construction of the old observation pocket watch calibrator 48 and also illustrates that it is not a unitas modification.
The anglished and polished edges of these parts are not polished on the tin plate against the visible steel parts on their surfaces, but are only provided with a decorative grind. The hand engraving has also been moved to a small separate circuit board.
With the new plant, the small factory would like to offer its customers a "CANALETTO" steel watch for just € 8,900, which they sell themselves through direct sales.
